Project 52: Week 18 - Morning has broken
It has been a super busy crazy week so I wasn’t sure I was going to get this week's project 52 done. Our theme was "Morning has Broken". You’ve heard the saying, the early bird gets the worm. The same is true in photography, those who head out early in the morning, get the best light to work in. While I’m up early most days, it’s because of my job and the animals I need to take care of first thing in the morning. I love this time of day, watching the sun rise as the promise of a new day begins. But with my schedule this week, I only had one morning to make this happen, and wouldn't you know it, on that day the forecast was for rain!
When I got up, the radar showed rain just a couple of miles away! I dressed quickly, grabbed Izzy, hoping to beat the storm. I’m fortunate that there are a couple of really nice parks within a short distance from my house. More often than not, I photograph in the late hours of the day, so I wasn’t sure what I would find as the sun rose over Mount Nittany. I got lucky, it didn’t rain, and for a brief moment, the sun popped out from behind the clouds. Izzy posed for me in this great field and I discovered this park gets awesome morning light! Definitely worth getting up early for!
