Product review - Simply Fido organic dog toys
If you’re like me, you like to spoil your fur-babies! There’s nothing that’s too good for my girls! I’m always on the lookout for the perfect toy and wanted to share my latest discovery as I’m really excited about it! With all the issues with products made in China using ingredients that are unsafe for our children and our fur-babies, I’m constantly looking for toys made in America using natural materials. So when I discovered the company Simply Fido based in New York, I knew I had found the perfect gift for Izzy’s 5th birthday.
This eco-friendly company uses only organic cotton and no chemicals in the products they sell. Which I just love! We know all too well the effects of harmful ingredients in the health of our pets, just look at how the number of fur-babies who are diagnosed with cancer has risen over recent years. And since Izzy is a golden retriever, one of the breeds that is most susceptible to this horrible disease, I want to do anything and everything I can to help her not be one of the statistics.
While the toys I ordered aren’t for me, I was like a little kid waiting for the UPS truck to deliver my box of goodies! Opening the box and holding the toys in my hands did not disappoint! I couldn't wait to give Izzy her gifts on her birthday! The cotton is so soft, the colors are wonderful and the quality is outstanding! Each toy comes with a squeaker, something my girls simply cannot do without!
The plush toys are available as stuffed or stuffless. You can choose a variety of animals – from a lamb, an alligator or lion - there is something for every fur-baby out there! They are 10 inches tall, but also come in petites for the smaller fur-babies, which are 6 inches tall.
If stuffed toys aren’t for your fur-baby, Simply Fido also sells canvas toys and a Rubb ‘N’ Roll collection of rubber toys made from 100% natural solid rubber. And for your fur-babies first toys, they have a collection called Beginnings. These are also stuffed toys, but are smaller for smaller mouths of young puppies.
All in all, so far I’m really pleased with my purchase. And I’m sure Izzy will be too. And yes, I couldn’t resist, I also got a petite toy for Kita so she won’t be so jealous. I’ll be stocking up on more of these toys for Kita’s first birthday later this year!
