Begin with the end
I know it sounds contradictory, but I begin all my sessions with the end in mind. If I didn't start at the end, then I would be doing my clients a disservice. Have I gotten your attention? Good. Let me explain what I mean.
Hiring a professional photographer to photograph your fur-baby is a big decision. It’s not as simple as picking up the phone, scheduling your session and showing up with your fur-baby while I take photos. It’s an investment. Of time and money. Throughout the process, I'll ask a bunch of questions. The most important one is what do you plan to do with the photos from your session.
If you’re like most people, you love photos. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that your cell phone camera roll is probably full and you have dozens, if not hundreds, of snapshots stored on the cloud. In an age when we photograph almost everything we do every single day, we are also the generation that is least likely to print our photos.
And I want to change this. One of my goals as a photographer is to create artwork to be displayed in your home and/or office. Whether that’s wall art to hang on your walls, a photo album to grace your coffee table, or desktop photo to display on your bookshelf, there's something for everyone and every home. I'll work with you to choose products that best suit your lifestyle and home decor. By beginning with the end in mind, we can begin to devise a plan for your photo session to achieve these goals.
Once we know what artwork we are going to create, many other details will fall into place. Such as when and where your session should take place. Will you and/or other family members also be in the photos. What should you wear. And so on. By starting with the end in mind, I ensure my clients they are well on their way to experiencing a fabulous and memorable photography session with me. And in the process, they will have artwork to cherish for years to come.
